MEDTIDE (03880) announced that on August 27, 2026, its board of directors passed resolutions concerning the proposed adoption of a restricted share unit scheme and the proposed adoption of a service provider sublimit.
The restricted share unit scheme aims to (1) recognize the contributions of certain participants and provide them with incentives to retain them for the group's continued operations and development; and (2) attract suitable talent to support the group's further growth.
Given the expansion of eligible participants to include service providers, the board considers it appropriate to adopt a service provider sublimit within the scheme mandate limit, as stipulated under Rule 17.03A(1) of the Listing Rules. Accordingly, the total number of awards that may be granted to service providers under the restricted share unit scheme from time to time shall not exceed 1% of the total number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares, if any) as of the adoption date.
Therefore, the service provider sublimit related to the restricted share unit scheme should be 1.418 million shares, representing 1% of the total issued shares (excluding treasury shares, if any) as of the adoption date (assuming the company does not issue or repurchase new shares before the extraordinary general meeting).
