Robotics-related stocks largely advanced, with 51WORLD (06651) rising 18.34% to HK$48.4, ZHAOWEI (02692) gaining 13.23% to HK$29.78, Seer Intelligent (06106) climbing 7.23% to HK$52.5, Sanhua Intelligent Controls (02050) adding 5.38% to HK$22.74, and UBTECH (09880) up 4.65% to HK$67.55.
On the news front, the robotics sector has seen a wave of catalysts recently. OpenAI is pushing forward with humanoid robot development, and according to Sam Altman's projection, OpenAI is expected to unveil an impressive demonstration prototype by 2027. Meanwhile, media reports recently suggested that China is poised to lead the US$5 trillion humanoid robot market.
At the same time, the State Administration for Market Regulation recently approved and released the first batch of six national standards for humanoid robots, which will take effect on April 1 next year. Notably, NVIDIA's GTC Berlin conference is being held from October 20 to 22, with physical AI, industrial AI, and robotics set to be key agenda items.
Guosheng Securities noted that Tesla's Optimus is on the verge of mass production, and products from leading domestic robotics companies are transitioning from talent demonstrations to real-world operations such as express parcel sorting and product packaging, with more products targeting household and industrial scenarios being brought to market. The release of policy standards combined with industry players deepening their exploration of segmented scenarios is accelerating the industrialization of robotics. In terms of positioning, investors should focus on leaders in sectors such as lead screws, reducers, and lightweight components.
