Bitcoin climbed above $85,000 on Monday, marking a 4.82% intraday gain, with the primary catalyst stemming from falling crude oil prices.

Brent crude extended its losing streak to a fourth consecutive session, the longest run of declines in three months, as traders weighed diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran aimed at easing tensions, along with the potential resumption of Middle East oil supplies.

In an interview, U.S. President Donald Trump indicated he would "possibly" be open to meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the United Nations General Assembly this week.
