Wuliangye Group held a post-Lunar New Year meeting on February 24 to refocus efforts for 2026. The meeting emphasized the need for employees to quickly transition back to work with a focused and driven attitude, aiming for a strong start to the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
Zeng Congqin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Wuliangye Group, stated that 2026 marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan and is a crucial year for the company to pursue high-quality development. He noted that external conditions are favorable, with strengthened macroeconomic policies boosting confidence, targeted industrial policies supporting the liquor sector, and ongoing adjustments in industrial layout clarifying directions for non-liquor businesses. He urged the company to seize new opportunities, leverage policy benefits, and turn advantages into tangible outcomes for steady growth.
Zeng pointed out that the start of 2026 has maintained a stable trend, with the core liquor business continuing to solidify its foundation and the non-liquor segment further developing as a growth driver. He called on all employees to prioritize action and focus on achieving a strong performance in the first quarter to lay a solid foundation for annual goals. Key priorities include: adhering to political direction and strengthening ideological development; emphasizing strategic planning, reform, and innovation to improve corporate governance; focusing on goals by stabilizing production, enhancing brands, and expanding markets in the liquor sector, while improving quality, efficiency, and risk prevention in non-liquor businesses; advancing key projects in both liquor and non-liquor industries to ensure early implementation and results; and maintaining bottom-line awareness by ensuring safety, integrity, and risk control.
