Air China Limited (601111.SH) announced its operational data for April 2026. The combined passenger capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers, and passenger traffic, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers, for the Company and its subsidiaries both increased compared to the same period last year. Passenger capacity rose by 0.5% year-on-year, while passenger traffic grew by 5.8% year-on-year.
Domestically, passenger capacity remained flat year-on-year, with passenger traffic increasing by 2.7%. On international routes, passenger capacity saw a 2.4% year-on-year increase, accompanied by a significant 13.8% rise in passenger traffic. For regional routes, passenger capacity decreased by 6.1% year-on-year, yet passenger traffic still managed a 3.1% increase.
The average passenger load factor reached 85.5%, representing an increase of 4.3 percentage points compared to the previous year. Specifically, the load factor for domestic routes rose by 2.3 percentage points, for international routes by 8.5 percentage points, and for regional routes by 7.4 percentage points.
