Acushnet Holdings Corp. (GOLF) stock surged 5.15% in pre-market trading on Thursday, following the release of its second-quarter financial results that handily beat Wall Street expectations.
The golf equipment maker reported net income of $124.8 million, or $2.08 per diluted share, a 66% jump from $1.25 a year earlier and well above the consensus estimate of $1.63. Net sales rose 13.8% to $820 million, exceeding the $788.2 million forecast, driven by the early launch of Titleist GTS drivers and fairways, which saw strong adoption on professional tours. The company also benefited from refunds of IEEPA tariffs previously paid, which boosted both net income and adjusted EBITDA.
Looking ahead, Acushnet raised its full-year net sales outlook to $2.65–$2.68 billion and adjusted EBITDA guidance to $450–$470 million, reflecting confidence in sustained demand and a favorable product cycle.
