Prudential Executes £3.79 Million On-Market Share Buyback, Cancels 351,297 Shares

Prudential plc (Prudential) repurchased 351,297 ordinary shares on 1 April 2026 under the authority granted at its 2025 Annual General Meeting. The buyback was executed through JP Morgan Securities plc on the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging from £10.70 to £10.89 per share, with a volume-weighted average price of £10.79. The gross consideration for the transaction was approximately £3.79 million.

All repurchased shares will be cancelled, reducing Prudential’s issued share capital to 2.53 billion shares, which also represents the updated total number of voting rights.

The programme forms part of the arrangement with JP Morgan Securities announced on 6 January 2026 and was conducted in compliance with the UK Listing Rules, the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-Backs and Article 5(1)(b) of the Market Abuse Regulation.
