Industry figures indicate that the average price of gasoline at South Korean service stations continued to decline on Sunday compared to the previous day. The price had already fallen below the 2,000 won (approximately $1.30) per liter mark the day before, marking the first time in nearly two months.
Data from the Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) shows that as of 9 a.m. that day, the average gasoline price was 1,991.1 won per liter, a drop of 5 won from the previous day's average. This represents the second consecutive day that prices have remained below the 2,000 won threshold after initially falling through it.
