Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has announced that any portion of its first interim dividend for 2020—set at HK$3.71 per share and originally payable on 15 September 2020—that remains unclaimed by 15 September 2026 will be forfeited and will revert to the company in accordance with its Articles of Association.
Shareholders who have not yet received or claimed dividends declared since September 2020 are urged to contact the company’s registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, at 17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, to arrange payment before the six-year deadline expires.
The announcement was authorised by HKEX’s Board of Directors, which currently comprises 12 Independent Non-executive Directors, including Chairman Carlson Tong, and one Executive Director, Chief Executive Bonnie Chan.
