MOGOX and LG Electronics Forge Strategic Alliance to Penetrate South Korean Market

Deep News10:22

On the morning of February 4, MOGOX announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with the global technology and electronics firm LG Electronics. The collaboration aims to enhance business synergy and cooperation in areas including the deployment and operation of autonomous vehicles, the construction of digital road infrastructure, and smart urban governance, with the joint goal of expanding the autonomous driving market in China, South Korea, and globally. MOGOX President Fu Qiang and LG Electronics CTO Headquarters Vice President KIM HAKSEONG attended the signing ceremony.

This partnership will enable MOGOX to further strengthen its technological and product capabilities in areas such as pre-installed mass-produced autonomous buses, fused vision and solid-state LiDAR solutions, and end-to-end autonomous driving systems. The collaboration will leverage diverse overseas transportation scenarios to complete the closed-loop validation of both technology and business models. Previously, a consortium comprising MOGOX, BYD, MKX Technologies, and autonoma exclusively won the bid for Singapore's first official L4-level autonomous bus project.

It is reported that by adopting the "pre-installed mass production + fused vision and solid-state LiDAR" technical pathway, MOGOX has significantly enhanced system consistency and reliability. This approach has increased target perception distance by over 50%, reduced missed/false detection rates by 70%, lowered the disengagement rate by two orders of magnitude, and substantially decreased R&D and hardware costs. The company's self-developed next-generation end-to-end autonomous driving system, MOGO AutoPilot, integrates the MogoMind multimodal large model of the physical world. Trained on massive amounts of real-world road condition data, the system can simulate human driver logic to rapidly generate optimal driving decisions in complex scenarios.
