Aluminum Corporation of China raises stake in CHALCO, acquiring 8.356 million shares

Hong Kong Stock Exchange filings reveal that on July 20, Aluminum Corporation of China increased its holding in CHALCO (02600) by 8.356 million shares, with a per-share price of approximately 7.9696 Hong Kong dollars, bringing the total transaction value to around 66.594 million Hong Kong dollars.

Following the share purchase, the total number of shares held by the corporation now stands at approximately 283 million, representing a 7.17% stake in the company.

Supplementary information notes that the reporting person's interest in the H shares of the listed corporation has increased, as the reporting person acquired 8,356,000 H shares of the listed corporation through the Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading system on July 20, 2026.
