Clarity Medical Appoints Grant Thornton Advisory as Forensic Consultant for Independent Special Committee

Clarity Medical (01406) has announced that, in accordance with resumption guidance, the company is required to conduct an independent forensic investigation into the relevant allegations and related matters, assess their impact on business operations and financial condition, disclose the results, and implement appropriate remedial measures. Following consideration of the background, experience, and professional expertise of several candidates, the Independent Special Committee recommended that the Board appoint Grant Thornton Advisory Services Limited as the forensic consultant for the committee. Grant Thornton Advisory will conduct an independent forensic investigation into allegations of material misstatements in the prospectus and report its findings and conclusions to the Independent Special Committee and the Board. The appointment of Grant Thornton Advisory has been approved by the Board.
