According to Zhitong Finance, the smartphone supply chain continued to trend lower. As of press time, Tongda Group Holdings Ltd (00698) fell 8.60% to HK$2.02, Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd (06088) dropped 7.02% to HK$3.775, Lens Technology Co Ltd (06613) declined 3.72% to HK$16.8, and Q Technology Group Co Ltd (01478) slipped 2.60% to HK$4.685.

On the news front, market research firms IDC, Counterpoint, and Omdia recently released their third-quarter global smartphone market reports, showing shipment declines of 22%, 20%, and 20% year-on-year, respectively. Among them, IDC data showed that global smartphone shipments fell to 255.3 million units, a decrease of nearly 70 million units compared with the same period last year, marking the largest single-quarter year-on-year drop since records began.

It is worth noting that on October 16, Apple's first foldable iPhone Duo opened for pre-sale. According to the Dewu platform, on September 11, the 1TB version priced at 21,499 yuan was once marked up to 79,999 yuan, a premium of more than 58,000 yuan. Now, the quotation for iPhone Duo on third-party channels has fallen sharply. Multiple scalpers on second-hand trading platforms are only adding 3,000 yuan and promise delivery on the first sales day.
