Following the refined oil price adjustment mechanism, the next adjustment is scheduled for 24:00 on September 24th (Thursday). Currently, the statistical progress for this adjustment cycle has reached 30%, and the expectation of an upward revision continues to expand.
At the very start of this cycle, the first day's predicted increase had already reached 500 yuan per ton. In recent days, international oil prices have fluctuated, yet the estimated rise has continued to climb. The current forecast for gasoline and diesel increases stands at 600 yuan per ton and 580 yuan per ton, respectively. Converted to per-litre costs, No. 92 gasoline is expected to rise by 0.48 yuan, No. 95 gasoline by 0.51 yuan, and No. 0 diesel by 0.5 yuan. (Please note that these increases are only institutional estimates, and the final adjustment range will be based on official announcements.)
Reviewing this year's price adjustments, 18 out of the 25 adjustment windows have been implemented, showing a trend of more increases than decreases: 12 increases, 1 pause, and 5 decreases. Cumulatively, gasoline and diesel have risen by 1,980 yuan per ton and 1,905 yuan per ton, respectively, which translates to an increase of 1.58 to 1.69 yuan per litre. For a typical family car with a 50-litre fuel tank, filling up now costs 79 to 85 yuan more compared to the beginning of the year.
