Air China Reports 19.1% Increase in Passenger Traffic for February

Air China Limited (601111.SH) has released its key operational data for February. In February 2026, the combined passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers, for the company and its subsidiaries increased compared to the same period last year. Passenger capacity input, measured in available seat kilometers, rose by 13.8% year-on-year, while passenger traffic increased by 19.1% year-on-year.

Domestically, passenger capacity input grew by 13.3% year-on-year, with passenger traffic up 16.9%. For international routes, passenger capacity input increased by 14.0%, and passenger traffic saw a significant rise of 23.7%. On regional routes, passenger capacity input jumped by 25.4%, accompanied by a 37.1% surge in passenger traffic.

The average passenger load factor reached 85.9%, representing an increase of 3.8 percentage points compared to the previous year. The load factor for domestic routes rose by 2.7 percentage points, for international routes by 6.5 percentage points, and for regional routes by 6.8 percentage points.
