CXMT Unveils Commercial Production of Its Fifth-Generation Process Technology

At the 2026 World Manufacturing Convention held on September 20, Cxmt Corporation officially declared that its fifth-generation technology platform has entered mass production. The company announced that it has successfully reduced the active area half-pitch of the memory array to 11.95 nanometers, achieved a capacitor aspect ratio of 45:1, and lowered the core voltage region height to 6,762 nanometers.

This new fifth-generation process platform delivers a substantial improvement in memory density. Under identical conditions, the yield per wafer has increased by more than 50% compared to the previous generation. Built on this advanced platform, the 24GB LPDDR5X memory product has now commenced volume production and is being fully integrated into mainstream domestic flagship smartphones.
