The latest data from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong reveals that on July 13th, GIGADEVICE (ASX: 03986) experienced a significant movement in share positions. The total value of these transferred positions amounted to HK$2.911 billion, representing 11.79% of the total.

According to the information, a shareholder of the company transferred approximately 2.0215 million shares into Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, while moving 3.529 million shares out of Huatai Hong Kong.

This activity coincided with the lifting of the lock-up period for cornerstone investors in GIGADEVICE's H-shares on July 13th. Data indicates that a total of 18 shareholders were involved in this unlocking event, with a cumulative number of 14.3943 million shares becoming freely tradable.

It is noteworthy that the proportion of equity released in the Hong Kong market for GIGADEVICE is exceptionally low, with cornerstone investors alone accounting for about half of this released stake.
