On April 7, a rumor concerning Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co.,Ltd. spread rapidly across social media platforms. Images circulating online suggested that a vulnerability had been discovered in Hikvision's surveillance systems, leading to over 300 employees at its headquarters being taken away for investigation. In response to this rumor, a reporter contacted Hikvision posing as an investor. The staff member who answered the call explicitly stated that the claims were false, confirming that no such situation exists within the company and emphasizing that people should "not believe or spread rumors." According to the staff member's personal understanding, the company currently has no related business operations in Iran.
