The next scheduled adjustment for China's refined oil products is set for July 31, which is nine days from today, July 22. This will be the 15th pricing window of the year. Driven by sustained strength in international crude oil prices, expectations for a domestic fuel price increase are intensifying.
According to the latest monitoring data, the current projected increase is 530 yuan per ton for gasoline and 510 yuan per ton for diesel. When converted to retail prices, this translates to a rise of approximately 0.42 yuan per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 0.45 yuan per liter for 95-octane gasoline, and 0.44 yuan per liter for 0-grade diesel. The probability of a significant upward adjustment in this pricing cycle is high.
If the expected price hike takes effect on July 31 as anticipated, the price of 95-octane gasoline is likely to return to the 8-yuan-per-liter range in many regions across the country.
