Sun Hung Kai & Co. Repurchases 149,000 Shares; Cumulative 2026 Buybacks Now 6.61 Million Under Current Mandate

Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited reported a further on-market repurchase of 149,000 ordinary shares on 10 September 2026, paying an aggregate HKD 0.59 million at prices ranging from HKD 3.965 to HKD 3.995 per share (volume-weighted average: HKD 3.98).

Including this latest transaction, the company has bought back 6.61 million shares since its 27 May 2026 general mandate, utilising 0.34% of the 196.50 million shares authorised for repurchase. The moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales triggered by the latest buyback extends to 10 October 2026.

Seven repurchase trades executed between 2–10 September 2026, pending cancellation, total 811,000 shares at volume-weighted average prices between HKD 3.99 and HKD 4.13 per share.

Despite the ongoing buybacks, the company’s issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.96 billion shares as of 10 September 2026, with no treasury shares held.

The board has confirmed that all repurchases were conducted in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules and the company’s approved share-repurchase mandate.
