Deep News06-01

MEITU (HKEX:01357) saw its shares jump more than 18% during the session. At the time of writing, the stock is up 16.74%, trading at HK$5.09 with a turnover of HK$718 million.

The PAGC 2026 Golden Sail Awards were announced on May 27th, where MEITU was honored with two awards: the 2026H1 AI Overseas Pioneer and the 2026H1 Overseas Popularity Brand.

Public information shows that overseas markets have become a key growth area for MEITU's commercialization, particularly for video and design productivity tools.

As of December 2025, the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) for MEITU's Vmake product had reached approximately US$3 million.

Two other products, X-Design and RoboNeo, are also highly popular with overseas users.

Recently, Goldman Sachs published a research report stating that the integration of MEITU's AI models is expected to significantly boost the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) for its productivity tools by providing more advanced features and driving higher token consumption.

Management indicated that the company plans to train its own vertical AI models to replace costly third-party APIs, which should lower costs in the medium term.

The firm maintained a 12-month target price of HK$14.30 for MEITU and reiterated a "Buy" rating.
