Executive Director Bonnie Fong Sau-yin has tendered her resignation from SHK PPT (00016.HK) due to health reasons, with the board of directors accepting her departure effective immediately, the company stated in an email response on the evening of February 3rd. Simultaneously, SHK PPT disclosed this personnel change in an announcement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, confirming that "Ms. Fong has confirmed that there are no disagreements between her and the Company's Board." Public records indicate that Bonnie Fong, born in 1962, holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management from the University of Reading, UK, an MBA from Northeastern Louisiana University, USA, and a Master of Housing Management (with Distinction) from The University of Hong Kong. She joined SHK PPT in 1991 and has been responsible for the strategic planning, development, and management of numerous major shopping malls operated by the group in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, and Hangzhou. As a veteran in charge of the group's mainland China business development, Fong oversaw the operations of many iconic urban landmarks. Tianyancha records show she served as the legal representative and chairman of Shanghai ICC Properties Co., Ltd., the legal representative and director of Sun Hung Kai IFC Properties (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., and held responsible positions in several other group companies. On February 1st, according to related media reports, Bonnie Fong was suspended the previous week amid allegations of corruption linked to the operation of mainland shopping malls. The matter primarily involves Shanghai's IAPM Mall, a development by SHK PPT, and is related to tenders for marketing events, advertising placements, and brand collaborations. "Regarding the matters mentioned in recent media reports, the Company is conducting a review and will take appropriate follow-up actions," SHK PPT stated via text. The company has arranged for suitable colleagues to assume Fong's duties, confirming that related work and daily operations continue as usual. SHK PPT focuses on developing high-quality residential properties, office towers, shopping malls, and other non-property businesses. Its landmark projects include Hong Kong's International Finance Centre, Shanghai's Lujiazui IFC and Xujiahui ICC, Nanjing's IFC, Chengdu's环球Trade Plaza, and Hangzhou's International Finance Centre.
