On the morning of May 14, the Phase I production workshop of the Healthy Diet Industrial Park project by Henan Pianduan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., located in Maccun District of Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, was bustling with activity. Technicians were intensively debugging production equipment, while construction workers simultaneously advanced tasks such as floor paint application, final workshop decoration, and cleaning, all in preparation for the imminent production launch. Inside the workshop, two intelligent aseptic production lines have been installed, exuding a strong sense of technological sophistication. A sleek blow-fill-seal integrated machine stood prominently in the center, with precisely arranged stainless steel pipelines extending in an orderly fashion, forming a cohesive system reminiscent of a silver dragon poised for flight.
This project is a key initiative for Henan Province in 2025, with a total investment of 1.05 billion yuan and covering an area of 117 mu. It is planned in three phases. Focusing on the research, development, and large-scale production of medicinal food products, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 2 billion yuan upon completion. It will effectively fill the gap in Maccun District's biomedical industry by extending into the health consumption terminal, further improving the regional industrial chain and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading.
"Currently, the Phase I production workshop has been connected to steam, and aseptic production trials are expected to commence by the end of this month. Concurrently, we are advancing all tasks related to the final acceptance of Phase I, striving to achieve production and efficiency as soon as possible to catch the peak season for summer beverage sales," said Fu Changwei, General Manager of Henan Pianduan Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
The accelerated pace of the project's construction stems not only from the company's solid industrial foundation built over years of deep engagement in the beverage sector but also benefits significantly from the agglomeration advantages and robust support services of Maccun District's biomedical industry. Henan Pianduan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in February 2025, evolving from its predecessor, Henan Pianduan Food Co., Ltd., founded in 2016. With years of experience in the beverage industry, the company has established five contract manufacturing plants in Jiaozuo City and surrounding areas, achieving an annual output value of 160 million yuan and accounting for over 30% of the annual beverage production in Henan Province's market. Upon the full operation of Phase I, the project is expected to produce 52,000 bottles of beverages per hour, aiming to match the capacity levels of local benchmark enterprises in Jiaozuo, such as Daka International, and achieve a comprehensive leap in production capacity.
"'Maccun Speed,' which enabled us to start construction just 40 days after land acquisition with all four permits issued simultaneously, combined with the comprehensive 'Maccun Service' throughout the entire project lifecycle, has given us full confidence in the project's construction. This is also the foundation for our confidence in expanding investment and production, rooting in Maccun, and deepening our development despite market pressures," Fu Changwei added.
Leveraging the strong synergy of government-enterprise collaboration, the project is strategically advancing and seizing opportunities. It aligns with Maccun District's goal of developing a biomedical industry cluster while emphasizing the innovative direction of "medicinal food homology." This approach deeply aligns with the development requirements of the green food industry, a key component of Jiaozuo City's "3+13+N" modern industrial system aimed at building a 100-billion-yuan cluster. By precisely integrating with Maccun District's leading biomedical industry, the project has become a crucial engine driving regional industrial quality improvement and upgrading.
Technicians and workers are diligently debugging equipment and verifying technical parameters for the intelligent aseptic production lines, racing against time to ensure the project's timely launch.
