Halozyme Therapeutics (HALO) stock soared 5.39% in after-hours trading on Thursday, driven by investor enthusiasm following the release of its second-quarter financial results, which significantly exceeded Wall Street expectations.

The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.28, easily beating the consensus estimate of $1.84, while revenue surged 48% year-over-year to $481 million, ahead of the $407.5 million forecast. Additionally, Halozyme raised its full-year 2026 guidance, now projecting total revenue between $1.835 billion and $1.910 billion and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $8.65 to $9.00, up from its prior outlook. The company also repurchased $332.8 million in shares during the quarter, further signaling confidence in its growth trajectory.
