Stock News03-16 21:43

Alibaba (BABA.US) shares advanced more than 2% on Monday, trading at $138.12. The increase followed the company's announcement of the formal establishment of the Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) business group. This new organizational unit is centered on the core objectives of "creating tokens, transferring tokens, and applying tokens," and will be directly overseen by Alibaba CEO Yongming Wu. This strategic reorganization represents a significant move by Alibaba in preparation for the AI Agent era, positioning the Token Hub as a central element to strengthen strategic coordination within its AI business and fully advance the implementation of its AI strategy. The Alibaba Token Hub is reported to encompass the Tongyi Laboratory, the MaaS business line, the Qianwen Business Unit, the Wukong Business Unit, and the AI Innovation Business Unit, creating a comprehensive structure that spans from foundational model research and development to model-as-a-service platforms, and extends to AI applications for both individual consumers and enterprises.
