BAYZED HEALTH (02609) Forges Strategic Alliance with Weilian Weitong and Mingyue Medical for Comprehensive Healthcare Collaboration

Stock News05-20

BAYZED HEALTH (02609) announced that on May 20, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Baize Medical Investment Group Co., Ltd., entered into strategic cooperation agreements with Shanghai Weichuang Weilian Weitong Health Management Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Mingyue Medical Technology Co., Ltd. Both Weilian Weitong and Mingyue Medical are subsidiaries of Weichuang Medical Science Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 00853.HK), collectively referred to as the "Weichuang Medical Science Group."

Pursuant to the strategic cooperation agreements, the three parties will engage in comprehensive collaboration within the medical field to jointly elevate the standard of medical services. Key terms include: (1) Supply Chain Cooperation: Weilian Weitong and Mingyue Medical will provide a full suite of high-value consumables and integrated solutions from various business segments of the Weichuang Medical Science Group to the hospitals under the BAYZED HEALTH group. (2) Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Discipline Development: The three parties will jointly establish regional cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diagnosis and treatment centers within the group's hospitals, collaborating on equipment technology, expert resources, and facility infrastructure. (3) Surgical Robot Diagnosis and Treatment Center Development: The three parties will jointly establish endoscopy and orthopedic surgical robot centers within the group's hospitals, creating a professional intelligent platform integrating clinical diagnosis and treatment, technical training, scientific research, and academic exchange.

The board of directors believes this strategic cooperation fully leverages the complementary strengths of the three parties. Weilian Weitong and Mingyue Medical specialize in medical artificial intelligence and information technology. Their advanced medical equipment, innovative technologies, and R&D capabilities will not only assist the group's hospitals in enhancing core capabilities in "diagnosis" and "treatment" for complex diseases and minimally invasive surgery but also, combined with their integrated solutions in fields such as endocrinology and rehabilitation, will help the group further establish a closed-loop system connecting high-quality in-hospital treatment with continuous out-of-hospital rehabilitation. This provides solid clinical technical support for the group's comprehensive implementation of its "Prevention, Screening, Diagnosis, Treatment, Rehabilitation, Management, Connection, and Companionship" eight-ring service system and offers a high-quality hardware foundation and implementation capability for the group to expand its service radius through regional diagnosis and treatment centers and solidify its "Hospital at Home" (H@H) continuous medical service model.

Therefore, the board considers this cooperation to be in the overall interests of the company and its shareholders, as it will help expand the group's service coverage, enhance brand influence, and improve the accessibility of high-quality medical resources. The board also believes the cooperation brings multiple benefits to Weilian Weitong and Mingyue Medical, including: leveraging the group's extensive regional hospital network to broaden application scenarios for their high-value consumables and integrated solutions covering cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, orthopedic, endocrine, and rehabilitation fields, accelerating the commercialization of innovative products; through jointly building regional cardiovascular/cerebrovascular diagnosis and treatment centers and surgical robot centers, creating demonstration benchmarks integrating clinical diagnosis, technical training, and academic exchange for their cutting-edge equipment like endoscopes and orthopedic surgical robots, strengthening their brand influence in precision medicine; utilizing the rich clinical feedback accumulated from the group's implementation of the "H@H" strategy and "eight-ring" service system to establish a close "medical-engineering integration" mechanism, aiding the continuous R&D and iterative upgrading of their medical AI and innovative technologies; and promoting the extension of their service model from mere product delivery to a deep partnership encompassing clinical training, research assistance, and integrated solutions.
