HashKey Holdings Executes HK$2.96 Million Share Buyback, Reducing Free Float by 0.05%

HashKey Holdings Limited repurchased 1.36 million ordinary shares on 2 October 2026 through on-exchange transactions, paying a total of HK$2.96 million. The shares were acquired at prices between HK$2.105 and HK$2.24, translating to a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HK$2.18 per share, and will be held as treasury stock.

Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell to 2.75 billion from 2.75 billion, a decrease of 0.05%. Treasury shares rose to 17.79 million, while the total issued share capital remained unchanged at 2.77 billion shares.

The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 11 June 2026, which authorises buybacks of up to 276.61 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now stand at 17.79 million shares, representing 0.64% of the issued share base on the mandate date. Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, HashKey Holdings is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 1 November 2026.

Management confirmed that the repurchase complied with Main Board Rule 10.06(4)(a) and that no material changes have been made to the repurchase explanatory statement filed on 29 April 2026.
