The U.S. aerospace and defense technology firm Redwire Corporation has announced the receipt of an additional procurement order valued at $21.5 million from the U.S. Navy's Combined Procurement Executive Office - Robotics and Autonomous Systems (CPE-RAS). This order includes the supply of a second batch of 'Tracker' Block 30 'Advanced Navigation' variant unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for the U.S. Marine Corps, along with corresponding standard system configurations.

This follow-on order represents another significant contract following an award of approximately $20 million from the same office in the first quarter of 2026. The prior order marked the Marine Corps' initial procurement of Redwire's 'Advanced Navigation' variant of the Tracker drone. The CPE-RAS office is a new entity formally established by the U.S. Navy in late 2025, with the aim of consolidating and optimizing at least 47 unmanned systems and related technology programs previously dispersed across more than ten separate project offices within the Navy and Marine Corps.

"Redwire is honored to continue supporting this office in its mission to modernize the Marine Corps' small UAS capabilities and enhance readiness in critical mission areas," stated Joshua Stinson, Co-President and Chief Growth Officer of Redwire's defense technology business. "For over two decades, Redwire's Tracker UAS has demonstrated proven reliability, operational flexibility, and mission success in demanding environments."

This procurement is part of a significant upgrade to the Marine Corps' existing Tracker fleet, which currently numbers in the hundreds of platforms. Each 'Advanced Navigation' system comprises the aircraft, electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) reconnaissance payloads, and short-, medium-, and long-range ground control stations along with associated support kits.

Upgrading the existing 'Tracker' Block 30 configurations to the 'Advanced Navigation' variant is designed to ensure the Marine Corps maintains a technological edge on the rapidly evolving modern battlefield. The 'Advanced Navigation' Tracker enhances situational awareness, improves target tracking accuracy, and provides greater operational flexibility for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions in complex combat conditions. This procurement is being executed through the Defense Logistics Agency's Tailored Logistics Support contract.
