Recently, 12 students from Santai County First Middle School distinguished themselves among 1,000 outstanding participants at the 2025 National Scientific Research-oriented Aerospace Model Popularization Competition (Sichuan Beichuan Station) and the Sichuan Provincial Public Fitness Aerospace Model Project Open Competition. Demonstrating robust technical skills and steady on-site performance, they secured 2 second-place prizes and 5 third-place prizes. Their remarkable achievements not only highlight their individual capabilities but also reflect the school's effectiveness in science and technology education.
The attainment of these results is attributed to the diligent efforts of the students and the strong support from the school. Prior to the competition, under the guidance of teachers from the school's model aircraft club, the students dedicated their spare time to repeatedly adjusting their models, conducting flight simulations, and engaging in practical field training. They successfully overcame numerous technical challenges, including the effects of wind speed and ensuring model stability. The school provided substantial support for the students' preparation, offering resources such as venues, equipment, and instructional guidance.
A relevant official from Santai County First Middle School stated that these awards serve as both an affirmation of the school's science and technology education initiatives and a platform for students to showcase their talents. Moving forward, the school plans to further deepen quality-oriented education, promote the widespread adoption of science and technology education, and cultivate more outstanding students with an innovative spirit and practical abilities. The goal is to support their continuous progress in technological exploration and enable them to shine on broader stages.
