PSBC's "Mountain Postal Loan" Boosts Greenhouse Farming in Wushan, Yielding "Fruits of Prosperity"

Deep News12-04 18:21

As winter's chill sets in, the greenhouses in Qizhuang and Heichidian villages of Wushan County, Tianshui City, remain warm and vibrant—lush tomato vines heavy with ripe fruit, bright red strawberries nestled among green leaves, and tender shoots of Wulongtou vegetables pushing through the soil, painting a promising picture of harvest. Behind this thriving scene lies the sustained support of PSBC's targeted financial assistance, with specialized products like the "Mountain Postal Loan" injecting strong momentum into rural industrial development.

As a central government-designated support unit, PSBC has consistently focused on the needs of rural industrial revitalization, addressing key challenges in Qizhuang and Heichidian's agricultural development. Upon learning that years of cultivation had led to soil acidification and declining yields in aging greenhouses, PSBC swiftly allocated targeted funds to support greenhouse upgrades. This initiative helped renovate 25 greenhouses across the two villages, with an ongoing project to modernize 50 more (20 already underway, expected for completion this year). The revitalized greenhouses have become "income boosters," with each projected to generate annual revenues of 50,000 yuan, accelerating collective economic growth.

Beyond financial aid, PSBC facilitated a "Party branch + cooperative + base + farmer" model, creating 21 local jobs and increasing village collective income by over 50,000 yuan annually. Farmer Qi, gazing at his flourishing produce, remarked, "With PSBC's support, our greenhouses are in better shape, and sales are steady—this year's profits will surely rise!"

The standout feature for farmers is PSBC's "Mountain Postal Loan," which offers quick, hassle-free access to credit without lengthy procedures or travel. Farmer Zhang from Heichidian, who sought to expand his strawberry cultivation this year, secured a 100,000 yuan loan within days. His greenhouse now brims with plump, red berries ready for next month's market. "With PSBC's backing and the 'Mountain Postal Loan,' I can scale up and grow my income sustainably," he shared.

Similarly, Farmer Ma in Qizhuang, previously worried about cash flow for tomato farming, obtained a 400,000 yuan loan to purchase premium seedlings after upgrading his greenhouse. Today, his plants are laden with fruit awaiting harvest.

From introducing superior crop varieties and scientific farming techniques to helping "Tange Tomatoes" earn recognition as one of "Wushan's Ten Fresh Delicacies," PSBC has been a constant partner. The extended harvest season now supplies fresh produce from winter through spring, enriching urban diets while fattening rural wallets.

PSBC plans to deepen its "finance + industry" support model, leveraging products like the "Mountain Postal Loan" to channel financial resources into rural specialty industries, transforming greenhouses into engines of prosperity and brightening farmers' futures.
