Midea Group Repurchases 0.65 Million A-Shares for RMB 55.13 Million

Midea Group Co., Ltd. disclosed that it repurchased 650,000 A-shares on 17 September 2026 via the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The buyback was executed at prices ranging from RMB 84.18 to RMB 85.24 per share, translating to an average cost of roughly RMB 84.81 and a total consideration of RMB 55.13 million.

Following the transaction, Midea’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell to 6.81 billion, a marginal 0.0095% decrease from the previous day. Treasury share holdings rose to 169.85 million, bringing total issued shares (including treasury shares) to 6.98 billion.

The repurchased shares are being held as treasury shares for a future reduction of registered share capital; no immediate cancellation has been carried out. The company confirmed that the buyback was authorized by the board and complied with all relevant regulations and exchange rules.
