As a key player in public welfare, Inner Mongolia Energy Group and its subsidiaries have taken on the responsibility of delivering warmth and comfort to households during the increasingly cold winter season. Every equipment inspection, temperature check, and professional service reflects their commitment to maintaining the "warmth of livelihood."
"22.5°C—just the right temperature!" noted a staff member during a routine check. Mr. Zhang, a resident of Hangjin Banner’s Linyuan Community, smiled and said, "This year, the heating started earlier, and the temperature has been very stable..." On the morning of November 10, a team from Hangjin Power Generation Company visited homes to measure indoor temperatures as part of their "Warmth Check" initiative.
This heating season, residents in Hangjin Banner received their "warmth package" ahead of schedule. Hangjin Power Generation Company began supplying heat 15 days earlier than usual, ensuring warmth from the first day of the National Day holiday. This early start was made possible by thorough maintenance work during the off-season, known as "summer treatment for winter ailments." The heating management team conducted deep cleaning and servicing of core equipment, including plate heat exchangers and filters, across 69 heat exchange stations.
Additionally, the team inspected 105 valve wells and maintained 210 valves, effectively eliminating potential hazards such as valve jamming and leakage. These efforts laid a solid foundation for stable and orderly heating during winter.
The newly upgraded smart dispatch center now monitors the automated heat exchange stations in real time. This year’s automation upgrades covered all 69 self-managed stations, while 1,000 new temperature monitoring points act as "temperature sentinels," tracking changes in household warmth. This shift from reactive to proactive service has significantly improved heating quality.
To further ensure reliability, Hangjin Power Generation recently conducted emergency drills simulating extreme conditions of -20°C. The emergency command center successfully mobilized repair teams and equipment within 30 minutes, demonstrating rapid response capabilities in case of unexpected disruptions.
In another instance, Ms. Zhang, a resident of Beixinyuan Community in Ulanhot, expressed gratitude after technicians promptly resolved her heating issue. Initially, her home was colder than usual due to a clogged filter, but after a quick inspection and cleaning by Xing'an Thermal Power Company’s maintenance team, the temperature quickly rose to 22°C.
To address common heating problems like filter blockages, Xing'an Thermal Power launched a "Filter Maintenance Campaign," adopting a proactive approach by organizing inspections in older neighborhoods and high-occupancy buildings. The company also educated residents on filter maintenance and repair requests through community notices and group chats.
Maintenance worker Lao Sun shared that his team carries out an average of 15 household checks daily, with special attention given to elderly residents living alone. Beyond filter cleaning, they also inspect radiator connections and adjust thermostatic valves to ensure comprehensive service. So far, over 1,500 households have benefited from this initiative, with average response times reduced to under two hours.
Meanwhile, Wusitai Thermal Power Plant addressed weaknesses from the previous heating season by completing a 90-day overhaul of primary and secondary pipelines and heat exchange stations. The upgrades resolved issues like pipe leaks and included intelligent upgrades at three stations, enabling real-time monitoring and precise temperature adjustments to balance comfort and energy efficiency.
The plant also enhanced the accuracy and reliability of its heating system by upgrading flow meters, significantly improving operational efficiency. Currently, Wusitai Thermal Power Plant ensures stable heat output, with warmth efficiently distributed to households through its well-maintained network.
From precision maintenance to early heating activation, and from smart upgrades to doorstep service, these practical measures demonstrate the company’s dedication to heating security. The warmth delivered not only dispels the winter chill but also strengthens the bond between the enterprise and the community.
