Agricultural Bank's Liaoning Branch Fined 3.27 Million Yuan for Regulatory Breaches

On April 30, the People's Bank of China's Liaoning branch issued a penalty notice against the Agricultural Bank Of China Limited's Liaoning branch. The branch was found to have violated multiple financial regulations, including rules on financial statistics, account management, network security, data security, anti-counterfeit currency operations, and currency circulation. It also failed to conduct proper customer due diligence and did not report large-value transactions as required. As a result, the branch received a warning and was fined 3.27 million yuan.
