China Coal Energy Company Limited (Stock Code: 01898) has released key operating figures for October 2025. According to the announcement, monthly commercial coal production edged up 0.9% compared to October 2024, while total production from January to October slightly decreased by 0.6%. Commercial coal sales for October declined 12.8% year on year, reflecting slower market demand, but self-produced commercial coal sales rose 4.5% during the same period.
In the coal chemical segment, polyethylene production increased by 8.1% year on year in October, whereas total output for the year contracted by 11.6%. Urea sales stood out with a 43.8% surge in October, leading to a 21.7% overall increase for the year to date. Methanol production in October fell 29.9% from the previous year, while the year-to-date figure showed a 15.4% rise. Ammonium nitrate production maintained steady growth of 8.0% for October. Meanwhile, the production value of the coal mining equipment segment registered a 19.4% drop for October and an 8.0% decrease year to date.
