Intelligence research empowers a new journey, while digital and intelligent integration fosters growth. Recently, the concentrated opening review meeting for the Artificial Intelligence special projects of the 2026 Beibei District Education Science "15th Five-Year" Plan was successfully held at Chongqing Beibei Meihuashan Primary School.
The opening event was chaired by Qu Chenyu from the Research and Development Department of the Beibei District Teacher Training Institute. District Teacher Training Institute science teaching researcher Hu Diao, moral education researcher Chen Wei, and primary school Chinese language researcher Xin Ya attended to provide guidance. School leadership, all project team members, and representative key teachers participated in the meeting.
Teacher Qu Chenyu read out the project approval notification and clarified the district-level project management rules and related requirements. Subsequently, the five project leaders from the school, Wu Huan, He Ping, Zeng Yu, Luo Dan, and Yang Xiaojuan, delivered comprehensive and detailed reports. Their presentations covered the research background and significance, core concept definition, research objectives and content, technology application scenarios, research methods and implementation pathways, expected outcomes and innovations, personnel assignments, and schedule arrangements.
The five approved projects all closely focus on the theme of artificial intelligence education application. They are grounded in real primary education and teaching scenarios, addressing practical pain points such as classroom quality enhancement, evaluation reform, and student development. The projects deeply integrate AI technology with subject teaching, moral education activities, and academic assessment, combining forward-looking vision, practicality, and school-based characteristics. This fully demonstrates the school teachers' professional initiative in actively embracing educational digital transformation and delving into smart teaching research.
During the expert review session, the attending experts gave high praise to the value of each project's topic selection and the preliminary preparatory work. They provided professional comments and guidance for each project individually. Furthermore, the experts focused on the characteristics of AI education research, tackling project difficulties, and outcomes transformation, offering precise guidance for each project one by one. The experts' guidance was insightful and practical, clarifying the direction and providing a clear roadmap for the subsequent development of the projects, greatly inspiring all participating teachers.
Following a comprehensive review, the expert panel unanimously agreed that all five projects could proceed with their opening phase. In a concluding statement, Wu Huan, Party Branch Secretary and Principal of Meihuashan Primary School, expressed sincere gratitude to the experts for their meticulous guidance. He pledged that the school would continue to improve its scientific research support mechanisms, providing full support for the project research in areas such as technical platforms, teacher training, and resource allocation. Using the project research as a key driver, the school will comprehensively advance its smart education development, helping to upgrade and enhance the quality of school education and teaching.
This concentrated opening review meeting for the district-level Artificial Intelligence special projects was not only a rigorous scientific research evaluation but also a high-quality thematic training session on smart education. In the next step, each project team will carefully optimize their research plans based on the experts' opinions, solidly advance the various research tasks, and delve into educational research with full enthusiasm and a pragmatic approach. The goal is to strive for high-quality research outcomes, injecting powerful digital and intelligent momentum into the high-quality development of the school's education.
