CATL Partners with Sanming Transportation Group to Achieve Full Bus Electrification

On March 26, Sanming Transportation Group and CATL signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian. The two parties will engage in deep collaboration across several areas, including bus electrification, battery aftermarket services, and full lifecycle battery management, aiming to jointly promote the low-carbon transformation of Sanming's transportation sector.

The partnership will focus on three key directions: first, achieving 100% electrification of the city's bus fleet to enable fully green transportation; second, establishing commercial vehicle power battery maintenance and inspection services through authorized service stations and the "Ningjia Service" model to boost the development of the vehicle aftermarket; and third, jointly planning a city-level battery swap network in the Sanming area to provide diversified energy replenishment solutions for local new energy vehicles.

To date, CATL has formed strategic partnerships with multiple enterprises, including Minyun Group, Fuzhou Bus, Suqian Bus, Chengdu Bus, and Guangzhou Bus.
