Deep News12-11

On the 10th, a sea-rail intermodal train loaded with containers departed from Luoyang Yituo Railway Marshalling Station and successfully arrived at Tianjin Port, where the cargo will be shipped to Southeast Asia via sea transport. This marks the official launch of the "Luoyang-Tianjin Port" sea-rail intermodal channel.

The opening of this channel is expected to enhance trade connectivity between Tianjin and Henan, support high-quality economic development in the hinterland, and establish a golden land-sea linkage corridor under the Belt and Road Initiative. To ensure smooth operation, Tianjin Port Co.,Ltd. (600717) collaborated with relevant parties to leverage their respective strengths, achieving efficient coordination among "railway, port, and industry."

This solution combines the safety, stability, and precise scheduling of rail transport with the cost-effectiveness of direct sea routes, reducing costs by approximately 15% compared to traditional transport methods and cutting transit time by about 1.5 days. It provides a more efficient and higher-quality international logistics route for foreign trade enterprises in central Henan and surrounding regions.

A representative from Tianjin Port Co.,Ltd. stated that the company will further strengthen service integration with the Central Plains region, expand multimodal transport routes, and optimize service capabilities. By promoting bidirectional land-sea connectivity, it aims to offer cost-effective end-to-end logistics solutions for more inland enterprises expanding globally.
