Stock News07-02

ABBISKO Therapeutics, a subsidiary of ABBISKO-B (HKEX: 02256), has announced the signing of a strategic collaboration agreement with AstraZeneca PLC (LSE/STO/NYSE: AZN).

The partnership aims to jointly advance a clinical study investigating a novel targeted-immunotherapy combination for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.

This multi-center, open-label Phase I/II clinical trial will evaluate the safety and efficacy of ABBISKO's internally developed, first-in-class oral small molecule PD-L1 inhibitor, ABSK043 (lumipodlin), in combination with AstraZeneca's third-generation EGFR-TKI, Tagrisso® (osimertinib).

The study will focus on patients with EGFR-mutant, PD-L1 positive locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC.

The investigational new drug application for this study received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration on May 20, 2026.

ABBISKO Therapeutics will lead this Phase II study, with both companies sharing the responsibilities related to the clinical trial.
