CHINFMINING's stock surged 5.17% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the release of the company's annual financial results for 2025 and the announcement of a final dividend.
The mining company reported a net profit of $583 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2025, representing a 4.6% increase compared to the previous year. Profit attributable to owners rose 1.5% to $404 million, while revenue reached $3.42 billion.
Investors responded positively to both the improved profitability and the board's recommendation to pay a final dividend of 4.1446 US cents per share for 2025. The dividend announcement provides shareholders with a tangible return following the company's solid financial performance despite a 10.4% decrease in annual revenue.
