Li Jinhong Approved as Independent Director of ICBC

The National Financial Regulatory Administration has issued an official approval for Li Jinhong's qualification to serve as an independent director of Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China Limited.

According to his resume, Li Jinhong is male, a Chinese national, and was born in 1954. He currently serves as Chairman and Non-Executive Director of OSL Group Limited and works in the legal profession, concurrently holding the position of Chairman of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority Staff Appeal Board and serving as a Fellow of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute. His previous roles include Chairman of Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong and China offices, Chairman of its Asia-Pacific Regional Committee, and a member of its Global Executive Committee. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, Chairman of its Process Review Panel, and a member of both its Takeovers and Mergers Panel and its Takeovers Appeal Panel. A graduate of the University of Hong Kong, he holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL). He has been awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star and appointed as a Justice of the Peace.
