Dongyue Group Reports 102.5% Surge in Annual Profit for 2025

Dongyue Group (00189) announced its annual results for the period ended December 31, 2025. Revenue reached 143.55 billion yuan, an increase of 1.2% year-on-year. Profit attributable to owners of the company amounted to 16.42 billion yuan, surging 102.5% compared to the previous year. Basic earnings per share were 0.98 yuan, and the board proposed a final dividend of HK$0.30 per share.

During the review period, market conditions varied across the group's business segments, leading to differing product price changes and significant variations in segment performance. The refrigerant business division was the top-performing segment for the group. In contrast, the fluoropolymer, dichloromethane, and caustic soda business divisions experienced a decline in performance, while the silicone business division reported a loss.

The year 2025 was pivotal for the green development of the fluorosilicone chemical industry. As the market evolved, the landscape for various fluorosilicone products became clearer. The main products of the group's refrigerant division, such as R22 and R32, saw a substantial further price increase, influenced by quota restriction policies. In this context, the group capitalized on industry trends, adhered to policy guidance, optimized market allocation, maintained thorough communication with market participants, and made strategic plans ahead of market shifts. These actions resulted in excellent operational performance and laid a solid foundation for future industrial planning.

Furthermore, the group consistently prioritized independent research and development, which has helped maintain its long-term market competitiveness. During the review period, R&D expenditure was approximately 784 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.93%, with a growing proportion allocated to high-end new products. Throughout the year, the group also focused on enhancing production efficiency and reducing energy consumption. Through a series of innovative measures, including technical upgrades, equipment modernization, and process optimization, it completed over 80 improvement projects, successfully achieving further cost reduction and efficiency gains.

By the end of 2025, the group's R&D team had grown to more than 370 members, with over 50% holding doctoral or master's degrees. During the year, the group was granted 60 patents, bringing the cumulative total to 874 authorized patents, comprising 751 invention patents and 123 utility model patents. Additionally, the group established 7 standards within the review period, including 5 national standards and 2 industry standards, further contributing to industry advancement.
