According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, on December 22, Ping An Life Insurance Company of China, Ltd. increased its holding in Agricultural Bank of China (01288) by 44.05 million shares, with a per-share price of HK$5.4892, amounting to a total investment of approximately HK$242 million.
Following this acquisition, the insurer's total shareholding has risen to about 5.842 billion shares, representing a 19% stake in the bank.
