Barren Hills Adorned With Blue Panels As Solar Energy Boosts Rural Incomes

Deep News08-08

Aerial footage captured on August 5 shows the "China Three Gorges Suzhou Fuyang Photovoltaic Zone" in Liangtao Village, Fuliji Town, Yongqiao District. What was once a barren mountain range is now covered with neatly arranged blue solar panels, creating a unique ecological landscape alongside the surrounding farmland.

In recent years, Yongqiao District has revitalized idle mountain resources and optimized grid-connection services to drive the large-scale development of the photovoltaic power generation industry. This initiative has effectively helped increase the income of local farmers and accelerate their path to prosperity.
