SH Pharma Moves to Divest 51% Stake in Subsidiary Pharmacy via Public Listing

Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co., Ltd. (SH Pharma) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Pharma Holding Co., Ltd., plans to transfer its 51% equity interest in its controlled subsidiary, Shanghai Shangyao Xinte Dong'an Pharmacy Co., Ltd., through a public listing on a property rights exchange. The proposed listing price for the stake is set at RMB 178.5 million.

The transaction represents a key strategic move by SH Pharma to advance the overall development of its new retail business and further enhance its competitive edge. The initiative aims to integrate and dispose of specialized pharmacy resources within the SH Pharma system, optimize resource allocation in the new retail sector, and strengthen resource synergy and value realization across its specialized pharmacy segment.

By doing so, the company seeks to comprehensively improve its retail terminal service capabilities, operational efficiency, market value, and core competitiveness.
