Substantial progress has been made in the research and application of vertical large models and intelligent agents across various industries within the province. To date, a total of 413 vertical large models and 86 intelligent agents have been developed in 26 sectors, including steel, chemicals, and transportation. These advancements are providing new momentum for high-quality economic and social development throughout the region.
To accelerate the integration of vertical large models into industrial development, the Provincial Data and Government Services Bureau recently organized experts in the field of artificial intelligence. From the pool of already developed and applied models, they selected the first batch of 20 exemplary application cases. These include the Weisabo Steel Large Model, the Steel Ultimate Energy Efficiency Large Model, the Xinhai Chemical Large Model, and the Intelligent Road Network Traffic Large Model. These cases are notable for their significant results, verified reliability, and ease of replication and promotion, setting a benchmark and providing a reference for the industrial application of vertical large models across the province.
Among them, the Steel Ultimate Energy Efficiency Large Model was developed by Hebei Xinjin Steel Co., Ltd. It integrates multiple technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and cloud-edge collaboration. The model can perform deep optimization of combustion furnaces and material tracking. It collects and calculates key information, including real-time operational data and system running parameters, to accurately identify energy consumption issues and optimization opportunities during system operation. It then recommends the optimal solution to ensure the system operates efficiently, energy-saving, and intelligently at all times.
As the first compliant large model implemented in the chemical industry in Hebei, the Xinhai Chemical Large Model has planned 22 application scenarios. It is already being used in 13 scenarios, including production scheduling optimization and safe loading operations. The model is deeply integrated into various aspects of the production and operations of Hebei Xinhai Holding Group Co., Ltd., serving as an "intelligent expert" to ensure safe production.
The release of these typical application cases aims to promote the deep application of AI large models in key sectors such as steel, chemicals, transportation, healthcare, education, security, and government affairs. A relevant official from the Provincial Data and Government Services Bureau stated that the cases cover core business processes, including R&D design, production manufacturing, quality control, equipment maintenance, energy management, supply chain collaboration, intelligent decision support, and risk early warning and control. They fully demonstrate the robust capabilities of vertical large models in addressing industry pain points, improving production efficiency, optimizing resource allocation, and reducing operational costs.
The Provincial Data and Government Services Bureau will continue to strengthen the demonstrative and leading role of these typical application cases. It will summarize and promote mature experiences and practices to foster deeper integration of vertical large models with more industrial scenarios. This effort aims to empower the high-quality development of the real economy with AI technology, assisting the province in enhancing the quality and efficiency of its digital economy and facilitating its transformation and upgrading.
