Wasion Holdings Shareholder Transfers HK$1.49 Billion in Stock from CICC Hong Kong Securities to Citibank

On April 23, a shareholder of Wasion Holdings transferred shares from CICC Hong Kong Securities to Citibank. The transferred shares had a market value of HK$1.488 billion, representing 5.04% of the company's issued share capital. Separately, Wasion Holdings announced that on April 21, 2026, before the trading session, the company, the vendor Xingbao Investment Holdings Limited, and the placing agent entered into a placing and subscription agreement. Under this agreement, the vendor intends to place up to 50 million existing shares through the placing agent at a price of HK$30.00 per share. Concurrently, the company will issue up to 50 million new shares to the vendor on a "first old, then new" basis at a subscription price of HK$30.00 per share. This subscription price represents a discount of approximately 6.07% compared to the closing price of HK$31.94 per share on the last trading day on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
