Zhijiang Rural Commercial Bank Fined 446,500 Yuan for Regulatory Violations

On February 14, the People's Bank of China Huaihua Branch issued an administrative penalty decision showing that Hunan Zhijiang Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. was fined 446,500 yuan and received a warning for multiple violations.

The bank was found to have committed the following infractions: 1. Breaching network security management regulations; 2. Violating financial statistical reporting rules; 3. Failing to comply with account management requirements; 4. Breaking anti-counterfeit currency business regulations; 5. Disregarding security management standards; 6. Not conducting proper customer due diligence as required; 7. Failing to report suspicious transactions according to regulations.

The penalty was formally imposed by the People's Bank of China Huaihua Branch on February 4, 2026, and will remain on record for three years from the announcement date.
