FIT HON TENG (06088) has announced its interim results for 2026, reporting revenue of $2.496 billion, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year. Profit attributable to the company's owners reached $38.097 million, up 20.9% from the same period last year, with earnings per share at 0.54 US cents.
Revenue from the smartphone end-market grew by 2.9%, driven by higher overall sales of premium smartphones from branded companies. The cloud network infrastructure end-market saw a 55.8% revenue increase, fueled by rising demand for AI, which boosted server market needs and led to higher shipments of copper-based component products.
Revenue from the computer and consumer electronics end-market declined by 20.6%, primarily due to shortages of upstream components such as memory chips. The automotive end-market experienced a 6.2% revenue drop, largely attributed to the overall contraction of the US electric vehicle market and strategic adjustments by major customers in their EV operations.
Revenue from the system end-product market rose by 14.9%, mainly due to increased demand for classic white wired EarPods from branded clients.
