Sunshine Pharma Files for Full H-Share Circulation with Chinese Regulator

Stock News09-23

Sunshine Pharma (06887) has announced that on September 23, 2026, it submitted an application to the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) for the conversion of 38.9217 million domestic shares held by certain shareholders into H-shares, representing approximately 6.75% of the company's total issued share capital as of the announcement date, a move commonly referred to as full H-share circulation.

Upon obtaining all necessary approvals, including filing with the CSRC and clearance from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, the domestic shares will be converted into H-shares. The company will then apply to the exchange for listing and trading of these H-shares on the Main Board.

In accordance with the company's articles of association and applicable Chinese laws, no shareholders' meeting is required to approve the full H-share circulation and the subsequent conversion and listing. As of the announcement date, the company's application has not yet been accepted by the CSRC, and the specific details of the conversion and listing plan have not been finalized. The company will issue further announcements in due course as required by the listing rules regarding the progress of the full H-share circulation and the conversion and listing process.
