Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index Shows Minor Increase on July 9

The "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price 200 Index" registered a slight increase on Tuesday, July 9th, according to monitoring data.

The index stood at 110.38, a rise of 0.03 points from the previous day. The wholesale price index for the "vegetable basket" category of products also increased by 0.03 points to 109.99.

As of 2:00 PM today, the national average wholesale price for pork was 15.51 yuan per kilogram, up 0.5% from yesterday. Beef prices rose 0.8% to 66.31 yuan/kg, while mutton prices fell 0.2% to 64.19 yuan/kg.

The price for eggs increased by 1.3% to 9.61 yuan/kg, and the price for dressed chicken decreased by 0.2% to 17.31 yuan/kg.

The average price for 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.16 yuan/kg, marking a 1.2% increase. The average price for six key monitored fruits held steady at 7.18 yuan/kg.

For aquatic products, crucian carp prices rose 0.5% to 20.44 yuan/kg, carp prices jumped 2.6% to 14.72 yuan/kg, and silver carp prices increased 3.5% to 10.58 yuan/kg. The price for large hairtail fell 2.5% to 41.52 yuan/kg.

Among the 46 key varieties monitored in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets today, the top five gainers compared to yesterday were white radish, chives, rape, carrot, and silver carp, with increases of 4.6%, 3.8%, 3.6%, 3.6%, and 3.5%, respectively.

The top five decliners were large hairtail, Kyoho grapes, large yellow croaker, cabbage, and cauliflower, with decreases of 2.5%, 1.6%, 1.5%, 1.1%, and 1.0%, respectively.
